Values Defined:

Come as You Are
It is important for us to accept people just the way they are.  Jesus accepted people just the way they came and did not expect them to change first.  Life changes occur when people connect with God and learn from Him.  We accept people regardless of their background, lifestyle, or beliefs.

Opportunity to Serve
Because each person has been given a unique mix of talents and strengths, we believe that each person should be given a unique opportunity to use those gifts to serve.  Each person’s contribution is valued and needed.  We will help people to identify their God-given abilities and encourage everyone to contribute their individual strengths in team efforts.

Nourishing Individuals and Families
We respect the specific needs and issues of children, adults, and families.  Whether we live alone or with multiple family members, we have specific needs that are shaped by our realities.  Everyone should have the opportunity to connect with God in a setting that relates to their needs in a way they can understand.

Needs are Met by God’s Power
We cannot possibly meet every need of every person. We have a total dependence on God for everything we do and for everything we need.  We believe that God will provide for us directly and supernaturally when we ask Him for help.  We also believe that God helps us personally to do things we could not do without Him.  Asking God to help and expecting His help should be our way of doing things.

Experience-Based
The things we do as a church are designed to allow everyone to participate.  Church is not a place we go to, it is who we are and what we do together with God.

Community-Focused
We care about our community and want to do the best we can to help improve it.  We will partner with the community by helping and serving.  We will design our efforts to be relevant to the needs of the community and culture.

Truth of God’s Word
The Bible is the complete, true, and inspired Word of God.  It should never be compromised, changed, or edited.  It should define our faith and govern our actions.  We can be confident in guiding our lives by what it says and trust its promises completely.  We are committed to a lifelong process of learning and applying the truths of The Bible to our lives.
